  • Royal Palace – Step inside the splendid Royal Palace, where Scotland’s monarchs once resided. Marvel at its lavishly decorated interiors, adorned with Renaissance architecture, and learn about the lives of kings and queens such as Mary, Queen of Scots.

Good to know before you arrive

This is an experience where you can easily while away a few hours, so make sure to leave yourself enough time!

  • April–September: Daily, 9:30 am–6 pm (last entry 5:15 pm)
    October–March: Daily, 9:30 am–5 pm (last entry 4:15 pm)
  • Expect to spend at least 2 hours here.
  • Location: Stirling Castle, Castle Esplanade, Stirling FK8 1EJ where you get your tickets.
  • You can tour the castle with an audio guide – just make sure your phone has enough charge and you bring some headphones!

The Stirling City Pass saves you money and is easy to use. Each pass gets you tickets for each experience listed and is valid for one calendar day and is simply scanned to gain entry. 

Your pass activates when you enter your first experience during your visit. We always advise customers to start using their pass first thing in the morning as from then on it works on a calendar day basis, not 24-hour period. The Stirling City Pass does not include fast track access, and you can use it only once per experience.
