  • Unique New Wave Distillery – Established in 2019, Holyrood Distillery crafts whisky and gin with an experimental edge, moving beyond the constraints of centuries-old Scotch whisky methods.
  • Hands-On Experience – Get a close-up look at the gin and whisky production areas, learn about distilling processes, and enjoy tastings along the way.
Good to know before you arrive

This is a great way to get the taste of a distillery experience without having to travel up North!

  • Tours run daily from 11:30am every hour until 4.00pm.
  • Total duration is 1 hour (just for adults).
  • Location: 19 St Leonard’s Lane, Edinburgh
  • This is an introductory tour. It’s perfect for those who have not been to a distillery before or want to know about both our gin and whisky production.
Top Tip!
The Distillery is only a 15 minute walk from Dynamic Earth so you could do both in the same day!

Your pass activates when you enter your first experience during your visit. We always advise customers to start using their pass first thing in the morning as from then on it works on a calendar day basis, not 24-hour period. The Edinburgh City Pass does not include fast track access, and you can use it only once per experience.
