Good to know before you arrive

Wrap up warm and head to the outside decks and look out for the marine wildlife! There are seabirds, seals, puffins, and watch out for the occasional porpoise.

  • Tours run daily from 1st April – 31 October (reduced hours in October).
  • Tours are a minimum of 3 hours – 90 minute boat tour and 90 minutes on Inchcolm Island.
  • Depart from Hawes Pier, South Queensferry, EH30 9TB. If a cruise ship is in port, departures may be from Port Edgar Marina, South Queensferry, EH30 9SQ).
  • Landing Pass to the island is not included. You must purchase a landing pass to land on Inchcolm Island which is available at the Forth Boat tours kiosk. Adults £7.50/concession £6.00/Child £4.50.
